Sebagai Orang yang lahir dan besar di Biak Saya agak sedih melihat perkembangan kota Biak. Pulau yg Memiliki Panorama pantai yg indah, letak Geografis yg sangat strategis dan Penduduk yg bersahabat. But Why? knp kita tidak bisa sejajar dgn perkembangan daerah2 lain. tuk itu saya mengajak diri sy pribadi, keluarga, teman, maupun orang2 yang tinggal di Biak/maupun pernah tinggal di Biak, Yuk…!! Kita rapatkan barisan, Kita Bangkit bersama, dengan keyakinan, komitmen, semangat, tenaga maupun ilmu yg dimiliki sebagai sumbangsih dan tanggung jawab moril kita bersama demi kemajukan Kota Biak tercinta.

i was born in biak, my kindergarten till junior high school finished in biak, i left biak on 1981 and turned back to biak on 1995 to undergone my mandatory job as a general practitioner in yenggarbun health care north supiori till 1998. nowaday i am living in makassar as a lecturer in faculty of medicine hasanuddin university. i can’t forgot a lot of my memories during my staying in biak, the society, friends, teachers, school, beach, island especially meosbepondi island

Aku alumni SMP Negeri 2 Biak, kemudian melanjutkan ke SMA YPK Biak, sampai klas tiga,agustus tahun 1982 aku pulang ke Subang Jawa-barat.Selama 6 tahun aku tinggal di Biak, di Kompleks Angkasa. Sampai sekarang, hampir setiap saat aku selalu mengenang keindahan Biak,pantai-pantainya, keramahtamahan orang2nya.Aku kenal baik dengan Hengky Tan,Yance Kbarek, Yan Kurni, Dolfinus Unawekla, Ferdinand Nus Domo.Dan teman2 waktu di SMA YPK Biak tahun 1980-1982. Masih adakah mereka di Biak ? kontek aku ya di 081320440009. Aku kangen Biak, soalnya Biak merupakan kampung halamanku yang ke 2.

The KAPET office in Biak (the main town on Biak Island) seems to be responsible for coordinating regional development in the Biak economic zone, development under local politicians who rather pay more attention to their own wallet than the social economical situation in their region are examples of the system that whirls through Papua.
Biak Island is a interesting island. I should say that because there are many things which make my trip was fun. I have ever visited Biak since 2004. I visited Segery Beach that the beatiful beach. Another thing, I ate a lot of see food especially fish. I was interested and amazed because there is a lot of fish and tasted is good. Such as, people call “julung” fish, Tuna, those I bought it in the public market at the corner of Imam Bonjol Street. In finally, I wasn’t affraid when I went there because the acces to the Island was eassy result they have international airport. In short, Biak is a destination of some airplane like Garuda, Merpati,etc. Do you want to go there? Kerry-New Orleans,USA.
Biak is a beautiful island which full of interesting tourism object, such as underwater sightseeing (diving), dauwi island, japannese cave, many local sandwhite beaches, etc. but there’s still no deeply attention by local or central government to have special treatment, not only in budget but also in human’s interst
waw…that’s the real expressions about Biak..eventhough the city are smaller than the other city in Papuan Province but it was a wonderfull city..i miss to coming back again
Biak, a great island! This site looks great too, but the site lost activity. Where are all the topics, Freeport, BP, How rich is Papua, and other interesting stories about Papua?
Biak is clean….in the city it looks clean, but the dirtiness is in the mind of people. In the oh so bad and evil western world people take care of the environment more than in Indonesia. They do not throw their waste everywhere as they like it. And there are efforts to develop environmentally sounded methods to eliminate the garbages.
One good thing of the western world, I think.

When you come to biak first time,after leaving biak you will get the accronim of BIAK - Betapa Ingin Aku Kembali (it’s so exciting back to biak)….Biak is a warmfull place,nice sight seeing, great nature rock. Of course..biak is the most exciting place in papua…
